Our Plan To
Support Hawai'i Farms...
HI Roots Foundation will provide charitable and educational assistance to local farmers in Hawaii. Activities will include:
Agricultural Support Services – Providing farmers with resources such as soil testing, crop planning guidance, and access to shared equipment on a cost-share or free basis.
Educational Workshops & Training – Hosting workshops and seminars on sustainable farming, pest management, water conservation, and modern agricultural practices.
Community Outreach – Partnering with schools, community groups, and other nonprofits to promote local agriculture, food sustainability, and awareness of farming challenges in Hawaii.
Farmer Assistance Programs – Assisting farmers in applying for grants, loans, and government agricultural programs. Helping them connect to available resources that strengthen farm operations.
Volunteer Engagement – Recruiting community volunteers to assist farmers with general labor and projects, reducing costs for small-scale farmers.
